We uncover the beauty within you, and bring it to the outside so that you can show off to the world how beatiful you truly are.
Before we can start this transformation, we have to chat. We have to get to know you. We have to get to know the person inside first and then we have to look at and understand your circumstances. Once we have this understanding of your desires, we can then create a “Plan of Attack for Your Beauty Hit.”
We analyze your hair. We then strategically develop and custom craft a transformation plan to implemet a “Beauty Hit” carried out by our “Beauty Assassins.”

How It Works
We Start Your Transformation By Getting To Know "The Real" You
In our consultations we like to consider what your style is. We like to get to know you before you change, to get a sense of your style. This info helps to lead the consultation. Are you classic, trendy, preppy, galmerous, etc. It also gives us a chance to see your body shape which helps to determine the length of the new style. All of this happens before you even sit down. Once seated, we look at their faces shape, skin tone, eye color and ask more questions. The consultation is such a complex part of what we do, we could go on and on. But that’s how we start…..
1. Know what you want... (Or not....)
If you just want a change and feel comfortable giving your “Beauty Assassin” complete creative freedom, that is amazing–go for it!
BUT… if you came into Beauty Mafia Salon with a look in mind, it is your job to express what you want to your Beauty Assassin clearly and accurately. We take our “Beauty Hit Contracts” very seriously. For example, everyone describes “color” differently so make sure to bring pictures if you have some that can show us what you are visualizing.
2. BRING PICTURES
The picture you bring in should be most importantly of someone with similar hair texture, length, thickness and facial complexion. (The same look will not look good or even be possible to achieve on all hair types)
Now, pictures of the look you want – try to express what it is that you like about the look… the hair color, the haircut, dimensions and contrast maybe it is the hairstyle or the tone and brightness of the picture.
If you are unsure exactly what you like about a picture bring in a few images and it is your ‘beauty assassins’ job is to help you pinpoint exactly what you like about the image so they can ‘kill it’ for you.
3. Be Grounded & Open To Exploring New Ideas
Your “Beauty Assassin” will do everything they can to give you the new look you want.
When looking at celebrity images often we are drawn mostly to the hairstyle rather than the actual color. Hair extensions and clip in hair pieces are very often used to achieve that perfect “Kim Kardashian Body Wave”.
If you are not up for extensions remember your ‘beauty assassin’ cannot make your hair any thicker or longer with hair color or a haircut.
A complicated hair coloring transformation can take time. Please ensure to allow enough time in your schedule to really give your ‘beauty assassin’ what they need to get your hair where you want it to be.
Be honest about your hair history.
Although you may not want to open up to someone you have just met, it is very important when formulating a “Beauty Hit Plan” for hair color, performing hair treatments or even installing hair extensions for your ‘Beauty Assassin’ to know your full hair history.
This includes hair coloring experiences good or bad… especially the most recent ones. Your ‘Beauty Assassin’ does not care if you used a store bought boxed color at home, but they do need to know what colors are hiding underneath.
Recent medications – blood pressure, thyroid and painkillers along with many other medications can all change the texture and chemistry of your hair. Your hair will react differently to color and may feel dry or loose its elasticity from these medications. A “Beauty Assassin” needs to know this information before implementing the “HIT” on your hair.
All Chemical Hair Treatments – Your “Beauty Assassin” wants to keep your hair healthy, strong and have you leave the salon looking as beautiful as possible. It is extremely important to tell your assassin if you have done any relaxers, perms, chemical straighteners or any kind including keratin treatments, brazilian blowout, japanese hair straightening…
** Highlighting while any of the above mentioned treatments are in your hair, it can cause serious breakage, be sure to fully disclose to your beauty assassin all past chemical hair treatments.
